Thanks Eric!!! Great to hear from you!! :)

Yeah, a bit. I think it is some crazy nerve/inflammation thing because the pain kind of wanders a bit. It has never really localized. I was hoping that with the very limited miles this week that I could get it completely under control. Hopefully soon!!! :) (I think after Ogden I will mostly cross train for a week or two. That should do it!!) :)

Good luck with Ogden! I really need to take some swimming lessons. I can finally get in a pool starting tomorrow. I hope I end up enjoying swimming like you do.

See if your local library has the book, "Total Immersion". I read that book and taught myself to swim. It was AWESOME!! Seriously, great stuff!! If they don't have it I will mail you my copy. Just PM me your address. :)

Also, just to wet your appetite (no pun intended ... okay ... maybe a little intended) check out this link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJpFVvho0o4

Is that how you swim? I will see if I can buy it off Amazon. It looks like you can't breathe. At first, I thought he was swimming without breathing somehow. I don't like putting my head in the water...hahah! I guess I better get used to it!

My hubby used to make fun of me because I would practice putting my face in the water and side-breathing when I was in the bathtub. I was scared to death in the beginning. But once you get the hang of it you realize that "it ain't no thang". :)

Hahaha! Good to know you had an issue with it too. Bathtub....here I come! ha!

Wow. Impressive video. I wonder how that technique would need modification for open water with wind chop and such.

See you at Ogden.

I am still SO SO AMAZED that you taught yourself how to swim! Well, not amazed, but impressed is the word because you are seriously amazing, smart, intelligent, brave, courageous, positive,.....

Good job Teena. I've taken way too many rest days lately, but I think they have been good for me. Have fun tomorrow at Ogden.
