*Three out of six finals out of the way. I cannot wait until Tuesday late afternoon. Hoping I have enough umph to last until then. :)

*Strained something in my back yesterday while practicing a 100% dependent transfer of a 200+ lb guy pretending to be comatose. Dang. I definitely need to get my biomechanics down perfectly. (Or not work with 200+ lb totally dependent patients.) :)

Good luck on all the rest of your finals! Are you taking the summer off from classes?

The back strain sounds awful. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Hey there, Andrea! :)

The back will be fine. Just a not so gentle reminder to make sure I don't exceed my limitations and to use proper biomechanics! :)

The summer schedule for 2nd year PT students is: A full time internship and a case study (along with some smaller assignments). Of course we have to pay full tuition to work for free. :) :) :)

I am excited about my internship. My clinical instructor for the internship seems to be a top-notch PT. I will spend my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays doing Home Health Care and Tuesdays and Thursdays at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Draper. :) :) :)
