1 mile swim.

Roughly 37 minutes. I tried a new type of turn today (since I still cannot do a flip turn) and I really liked it. It was awesome not having to stop to switch directions ! :)

(I obviously did the open turn ... not the flip turn. BUT ... someday I will be flippin'!!!!!)

I use a pretty efficient turn style in the pool. I swim up to the wall, stand up, take three breaths, and pretend not to drown. I then head back the other way. I lose about 2 seconds a lap, but I like to believe that I look cool.

Ok, I look like an idiot, but I'm just not that cool to do the other stuff yet.

So cool that you can even swim a mile!

excellent swimming, teena!

I have to do an 'open' turn, I need a second to catch my breath. Having to hold it on a flip turn is too hard! Nice time on that mile!

Craig~

You have me laughing!!!!! I am sure you look very cool! Plus, no need for a swimming cap for you ... once again ... very cool!!!! :) :) :)

Kathie, Allie, and Rachel~

I love how swimming makes me feel. :)

SSF~

The PR came by simply not having to stop to turn. I really really really want to get my time to a sub 35. I know that is not fast compared to the fast swimmers, but for me it would be HUGE! :)

How are you feeling? You have not posted for 2 days.

SSF ~ Just got back from the temple! I am feeling fine! The insertion point of the patella tendon at the tibia tuberosity has palpable tenderness...same old stuff. Miss you! LLL LLL LLL LLL LLL

35 min is a fantastic goal!!! I am sure you'll be swimming that fast in no time! :)

SSF~

Sorry about the pain. STINK!

I would love to beat 35 minutes, BUT, not at the expense of not enjoying swimming. So if it doesn't come I am not going to force it.

I can't wait for your lessons!!! :)
