(10 miles w/AP of 8:18, then .5 cooldown)

Ran on the TM while Sophia, Oliver, and Livvy would periodically work out on the elliptical and bike. Watched Biggest Loser. Pushed the pace during commercials, but ALWAYS kept good form (at least I think it was good form, my form is likely horrible, but I was at least thinking about it).

** Andy, Smooth, and Kathie: I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW ... I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!! I promise, my intentions were good though. AND ... THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH for the FANTASTIC lunch date!!! We need to do that again ... promise me!!!!

Later PM:

One church basketball game.

I got a phone call at 8:19 from one of my friends in the ward. It went like this: "Teena, you need to get over here. We are going to forfeit if you don't!!" Stink!!! I learned a long time ago that the chance of injury is very high in church ball!!! Oh well ... it was good for a little more cardio and fun! :)

You didn't run to your boyfriend's? But it's all good that you had the company of Sophia, Oliver, Livvy and Biggest Loosers!

With that said! Do you need me to come and be your TM patrol during commercials or at your moments of weakness giving into temptation!!!! GOOD intentions don't count! It's a good thing I still love you!

From Teena Marie on Thu, Jan 07, 2010 at 20:07:20 from 174.52.45.85

SSF -- I was able to run to Bill's rehab because it took me so long to get home. Not sure what the problem was but I did not get home until close to 3:00!! So ... decided it was better to be with the kids. We talked, watched Biggest Loser, they would hand me a sip of G2 every few miles, etc. It was a lot of fun.

Yes ... I need you to be my TM sheriff. This was my train of thought ... and perhaps it is correct: "Well ... since I am only running 3 or 4 times a week it is okay to push during those runs some ... I am not going all out."

Doesn't that make sense?

And yes, I am VERY VERY VERY lucky that you love me still!!! :)

From RivertonPaul on Thu, Jan 07, 2010 at 20:48:55 from 97.49.27.18

Bill must b a very lucky man even though the treadmill was even luckier to have your company.

From Teena Marie on Thu, Jan 07, 2010 at 21:27:02 from 174.52.45.85

Paul, you are funny!!! Bill is in his 80s!!! He is this cute little guy in my ward that our family has kind of adopted! I am the lucky one! :)

My treadmill, on the other hand, wants to kill me!!! I keep spilling G2 on it when I try to drink out of a cup!!! STINK!

From Smooth on Thu, Jan 07, 2010 at 23:59:57 from 174.23.217.47

What!?! Church ball!?! Are you crazy? Don't push your luck! Bet you had fun though! What's your plan for Sat. run?

From Teena Marie on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 00:04:25 from 174.52.45.85

Hey SSF!!! I just asked you about your plans for Saturday on your blog!! I know ... Church ball is SO SO SO dangerous, especially for small gals like us!! Ry was laughing so hard because I am a scrappy player and was getting knocked over by women a lot bigger than me far too frequently! Seriously ... you should have heard Ryan laughing!!! :)

From Smooth on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 00:18:04 from 174.23.217.47

I would have LOVED to watch you hustle on the court! Did you have a lot of steals? That's the only way for petite people to play bball.

Ry got another abs workout huh?! :D

K, for Sat. I am good to go in the early afternoon. I'm planning on 18. What do you think?

From Teena Marie on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 00:25:48 from 174.52.45.85

Stealing the ball is the only thing that I am good out. Seriously ... my other skills on the court are weaksauce!!!

I think I will be too late for you. Payton's game is at noon and it is far out west. Will likely not get home until 1:30ish.

From Kelli on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 00:51:57 from 71.219.89.82

You are being risky there with the church ball!!! Scary stuff.

Maybe we can rig your treadmill to not go above a certain speed?? I say as long as you are feeling good and paying attention and not running 100 fast miles a week, you are good! You are being smart, just pay attention to how you feel.

I have missed something about abs workouts, but I am certainly making some assumptions....

From Teena Marie on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 00:54:32 from 174.52.45.85

The only thing you have missed Kelli is that Ry and I laugh a lot at each other!!! Hence -- the abs workout!!! I can only imagine where your mind went!!! You and Smooth both!!! :) :) :)

From Kelli on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 00:56:58 from 71.219.89.82

Yeah, whatever! Go get some more ab workouts in, the night is still young.

Great run Teena and some bball too? Keep up the awesomeness!

From Rhett on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 11:12:31 from 216.67.211.75

Great run Teena. My wife is addicted to The Biggest Looser. She loves to see the fat people loosing weight and to see how stinking hard they make those guys work. I guess all that puking is inspiring or something. The other day at the end of her 5 mile run she ran all out for 1 minute and then started dry heeving. I was so proud of her. I can't remember the last time I pushed myself to the point of the dry heeve.

From Burt on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 11:18:15 from 206.19.214.144

Teena, can you dunk?

From Scott Wesemann on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 11:36:04 from 66.239.250.209

That made me laugh. I am usually the one making those phone calls. :)

From Teena Marie on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 11:50:14 from 174.52.45.85

Vinh -- You are the awesomeness King ... I will just be happy to borrow some from you every now and then! :)

Rhett -- Your wife sounds amazing!!! Can't wait to really meet her at Painters. I love it when Ry runs!!! You and Doone are very lucky to share this passion!! And you definitely should be proud of her. She sounds as diehard as you (if that is possible). :)

Burt -- Of course I can!!! What kind of question is that??? :)

Scott -- You must be a lot like my hubby!! Are you the one that ends up being the ref for the other games as well (because everyone else flakes out)?? :) Glad you stopped by! Thanks!!! :)

Church Basketball...the brawl that starts with prayer...not the women though.

From Brent on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 13:12:17 from 76.8.201.223

T- NA NA - try a sipee cup - nice pace on Milly - torture of church basketball and poor sports - been there and done that. Can you dribble, with or without the simpee cup or basketball?

Stay Kool, B of BS Rools out

From Kelli on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 13:34:42 from 71.219.89.82

I FINALLY watched Biggest Loser at 1 am (I could not sleep).I was thinking, while watching their first workout, "I have never worked out that hard in my life!!!" It is crazy, they really push them. I love that show, it is such an inspiration!!! I wish that they had a boot camp or something that I could go to for just a few weeks, I am sure they could fix me!

And, I have to say, without ruining for those who have not yet watched it, the person who was sent home----WOW!!!! I am so impressed!

From Kathie on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 13:46:57 from 63.248.105.188

Nice run Teena, you should pass on the church ball...how can you be so careful during your runs and then risk it all at church ball?

From Teena Marie on Fri, Jan 08, 2010 at 22:19:58 from 174.52.45.85

Jeffery -- SO TRUE!!!! :)

Brent -- I'm a good dribbler!!! HA!!! :) I can drink out of a sports bottle, etc., but just not out of those dang dixie cups!!! What is wrong with me?

Kel -- There is nothing about you that needs to be fixed!! :) It is a great show, and yes ... impressive!

Kathie -- You are SO SO SO right! :)

From Scott Wesemann on Sat, Jan 09, 2010 at 19:39:20 from 75.162.72.176

Teena, HA! Yeah, I had to ref almost every week last year. I always feel bad and nobody wants to. I could think of a zillion other things I would rather be doing though. :)
