14.5 miles  (AP: 8:45) while watching "Imagine That" with the kids. Cute movie. They each took turns using the elliptical next to me. We had fun!

I feel great!

You are doing great! It seems like everything is coming together for you and just in time for Painter's and Boston.

From Rhett on Wed, Jan 20, 2010 at 11:41:15 from 74.41.249.102

Yea for feeling great after a nice long run! It is so good to hear you are healthy and stong. Saturday is going to be a great day for us all to get an idea of where we are at in our training. It doesn't look like much tapering is going on with most of us, so no pressure to PR. That way we can just go out and run hard and have fun.

From Burt on Wed, Jan 20, 2010 at 11:44:16 from 206.19.214.144

Saturday is a special day.

I love to hear that!! This is going to be a great race, I am so excited that you finally get to have a race where you are feeling GOOD!!!! Counting down the days....

Oh, and 14.5 in the middle of the week? WOW!

From Maynard on Wed, Jan 20, 2010 at 20:01:33 from 71.213.9.87

I tried commenting last night but the blog wasn't cooperating with me... I was just really amazed that you could put out 14.5 on a treadmill! Holy Moly! You're awesome! Don't wear yourself out before Saturday though--you'll end up finishing a little bit ahead of me instead of way ahead of me... =:o

From MarcE on Wed, Jan 20, 2010 at 23:20:08 from 206.225.68.183

You passed my longest treadmill workout by almost 1.5 miles! So glad you're feeling good these days...seems like the "Just Say No to Drugs" is working. See you in Boston!

From Teena Marie on Wed, Jan 20, 2010 at 23:54:47 from 174.52.45.85

Lyman -- Thanks! Still not sure what my plan is for Painters. But I am excited! :)

Rhett -- Sounds awesome!!! Yeah, no way I could ever PR at Painters. That is definitely not a PR course. At least not for me. But I am so excited to run ... and hopefully to run hard! :)

Burt -- It's going to be fun. :) (Now I can't get that Primary song out of my head.)

Cheryl -- Thanks!! I have been really concentrating on strengthening my left leg - it seems to be helping quite a bit!!

Kathie -- We are going to have so much fun!!! YaHoo!!!!

Paul -- That's the plan!!!! Keep reminding me.

Kels -- ME TOO!!! No matter what the result, it is going to be great to be in the race atmosphere w/my body cooperating. I am so excited!!! Let's get this party started already!!! :)

Brad -- The blog was being crazy for sure. Luckily I had logged in earlier and had not logged out. I think I was the only person commenting for quite some time. It was bizarre!!!

Marc -- Never thought of that (about the "Just Say No" being such a contributing factor!! You are so right!!!

I am ready to go today! I know my homework is nothing near yours, but this darn science project about did mew in!! I am so sick or PROJECTS that the kids can not do---they can not type, take the pictures, scan them, print them, make graphs without help, and so on. I am all for helping with homework, but not hours a day! I am tired of being in 5th grade already!!!!
