14 miles. AP: 8:12 -- Everything felt very tired and very heavy.

Today's goal: Figure out a way to get 8 hours of sleep before 5:30 a.m. tomorrow morning. This is going to be a toughy. Hoping to take a 20 minute nap before lab, a 40 minute nap with the twins when I get home, and 7 solid hour this evening (which means I need to be in bed by 10:30). Keeping my fingers crossed. I desperately need the zzzzzzzs.

I hope you get some sleep. I came home early from work last night so I could go to bed early and then I couldn't go to sleep until 2:30. grrrrr.

Sleep is NOT overrated, in my book.

Sounds like MY run except yours a lot FASTER!

I sure hope you get your 2 naps and 7 hours Zzzzs. Love you!

Good luck on the sleep. I always have the best of intentions with sleep, but I don't get to bed on time or get naps like I plan.

Nice work on the miles especially for feeling tired and heavy (I don't think you could ever use this word to describe any part of your body!)

From Kelli on Tue, Mar 02, 2010 at 23:30:43 from 71.219.89.82

Yes, please do get some sleep!!

I think that is a great run and pace for someone who felt tired. Tired is supposed to be more like 10 minute miles girl!

Great run Teena! A solid one at that with your busy schedule. Keep up the great work!

From Rhett on Wed, Mar 03, 2010 at 13:02:14 from 74.41.249.102

Very solid run. You're running those med long runs about the same pace that I am. Wow!

From Kathie on Wed, Mar 03, 2010 at 13:26:54 from 63.248.105.188

Nice run and at the same pace as Rhett! did you get enough sleep?

From kellies on Wed, Mar 03, 2010 at 16:19:38 from 67.199.181.245

Did you get some zzz's??? Hope so! I agree what Kelli said. I wish I could run 10 consistent miles at a 8:12 pace feeling tired. Not even an option. You are doing amazing. Keep it up girl!

From Teena Marie on Thu, Mar 04, 2010 at 12:33:33 from 155.99.200.170

Thanks everyone!!!! I did get 8 hours of sleep (1 hour nap and 7 hours at night). I woke up feeling like a new woman yesterday, but am now tired again!!! STINK!!! I'll try once more. :)

Not even CLOSE to Rhett's easy pace!!! What are you all talking about????
