** I likely should not have run this many miles today, and I probably shouldn't have taken a bunch of ibuprofen before I ran, BUT ... I really really really wanted to run so that makes it okay, right?  I took everything really easy other than one mile. Now that is discipline (or was it necessity?)!!! Had wonderrful running partners for several of the miles. :) :) :)

So happy you had such wonderful, sweet, handsome and cute running partners for some of those EZ miles! I should have run with you for the other miles to keep them even easier! Seriously, your EZ pace is my marathon pace! :)

Sophia is running so FAST! So AWESOME! Puts a smile on my face picturing her running! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Love and miss you! :)

Sophia is so cool.

Nice justification, I will not say nice run until tomorrow when you post how you feel! Then I will either say I told you so, or nice run I knew you could handle it.

Smooth~

Things went better today than I expected. I can tell that I need to start working on my base again since it has slipped by quite a bit. I just hope that I won't be in pain tomorrow and/or Monday. Right now I feel really good. But, I took 800 mg of ibuprofen about an hour before I ran so some of it is still in my system.

I missed you this morning and wondered what and where you were running!

Paul~

WORD!!!! Sophers is beyond cool. Seriously, that girl ROCKS on so so so many levels! I got so stinkin' lucky with my kids. :) :) :) How is your achilles? The Chumps need you (but only when you are ready).

Kathie~

I will let you know tomorrow ... as always, you will surely be right!!!! :) :) :)

T NA NA = very impressed with the 37 minute mile swim, you would be a natural at the Iron Man.

Nice work Teena. I hope that the improvement just keeps going up and that you're able to drop the Nsaid's soon. Oh, and yes - you did have wonderful running partners :)

From DaleG on Sun, Feb 13, 2011 at 02:06:34 from 67.2.69.121

Awesome run today. I don't think I could run that far even if I was 100%. Smoothie said your easy pace is her marathon pace and I can't even run that pace. LOL

From Teena Marie on Sun, Feb 13, 2011 at 11:28:20 from 67.2.72.248

Brent~

I am really enjoying the swimming. Not as convenient as running, but once I am in the pool I love it! As for an Ironman ... that sounds far too intimidating for me right now! Perhaps after I finish PT school! :) (Maybe!!!!)

Rachel~

That's the goal. I am definitely not where I want (or thought) I would be right now, but what do you do other than keep plugging along? :)

Dale~

You are a riot!!! Where's the update?

I think its great that you went out and did 16 miles. Its a great confidence builder. Hey, do you have a schedule of race events that you are planning on for this year that you can share with us. It would be nice to be able to compare your schedule with your actual training to see how relevant they are???? Ya!

From Kelli on Sun, Feb 13, 2011 at 16:41:14 from 71.219.84.215

I was looking at your avg pace and thinking, "Wow, Teena is taking it easy today!!" AND we all know how much discipline that takes! Hope all is feeling well, it was a beautiful day to be out running, so I see why you did not want to miss it.

From JulieC on Mon, Feb 14, 2011 at 20:40:10 from 71.35.249.130

I just notice your HEADLINE. YOU win!!! : D.

From Rhett on Mon, Feb 14, 2011 at 22:28:24 from 184.228.193.111

Teena, looks like Sophia and Ryan run the same pace. :) great run. How's everything feeling today?

From Teena Marie on Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 10:38:19 from 67.2.102.143

Slick~

I would be happy to share my racing schedule with you if I knew what it was! :) Everything depends on how much I can handle once PT school starts (which is May 16th). :)

Kel~

It's funny how sometimes when I am completely healthy I cannot seem to get myself in the mood to run ... but when I am an unhealthy in any way I want to run SO SO SO badly! I'm sure you know what I am talking about! :)

Julie~

Yep!!! I WIN!!! :) :) :) Okay~ you win too!!! :)

Rhett~

When Sophia and I got home she was so excited to show her daddy her pace on the watch! Pretty soon and she will be beating him hands down!!!! :) Beginning to feel better with each new day! :)
