20 miles

YAHOO!!!! My highest mileage week EVER and I feel pretty dang good!!! :) :) :)

3 MP miles by myself

13 miles with the Professor (time sure goes by faster when you have good company, thanks Matt!)

3 more miles by myself (2 MP and 1 Threshold)

Then one cool down mile with Bish (turned my watch off for this mile, I'm guessing it was around 9:20).

** At mile 18 I saw Bish. I asked him to run ahead for 2 minutes and then I would see if I could catch him. This gave me a two minute break to muster up the strength. :) Worked out perfectly!!! I felt much better than I thought I would during that mile. Then I ran a cooldown with him.

Fun morning.

Ya Baby, I can see that you are getting very serious about your marathoning. When you get into the high mileage club it says it all!!!! Are you going to be taking a two or three week taper going into Ogden? Looks to me like your going to have a super run at Ogden. You've done the work and you[ve got all your "P's" together! Don't forget to save some of this for the UVM.......TYI

20 miles! The (wo)man, the myth, the legend that is Teena Marie. Great job on an awesome week!

Once again you are an animal! I was just telling nic how little you drink while running. I swear I drink like 40 oz. in a longer than 14 mile run. Oh wait, that's because I'm just a little baby runner still and your the beast that I still long to become one day! SIGH!!! And only 1 GU! What the...??

From Kam on Sat, Apr 23, 2011 at 17:53:37 from 174.23.120.174

Only one Gu? Wow.

From allie on Sat, Apr 23, 2011 at 18:43:11 from 174.23.251.140

way to go, teena. solid training!

From jtshad on Sat, Apr 23, 2011 at 20:05:41 from 69.20.183.178

Nicely done, congrats on the big weekly mileage. Only one Gu is impressive, deprivation runs can actually train your body to work on minimal fuel but it is tough.

Teena: how is everything going. It seems like I haven't seen you forever. Hope to be able to run with you soon!!!! OK I wont ever be able to run with you, but maybe I could start at the same time as you and then see you at the finish!! :)

Slick~

I have no idea what I should do about the taper. I am leaning towards a 3 week one though. Sigh. I just don't know. :)

Matt~

Thank you so much!! Now, if I could just borrow some of those fast twitch fibers of yours!!!! :)

Sis~

You have no idea how much you make me smile (and laugh)!! Seriously!!! I love you so much. :)

Kam~

I'm kinda small, so one gu goes a long way! :)

Allie~

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I really am trying. :)

Jeff~

Somedays I get super hungry as I run, but today I felt fine. Lucky day! :)

Kimmy~

YAY!!!! You are on here!!! :) :) :) I have missed you!! When are we going to get together for a girls lunch or something??? It's been too long.

From Scott Wesemann on Mon, Apr 25, 2011 at 12:29:08 from 66.239.250.209

Very impressive week of running. Nice run and miles. Hope you had a great Easter with the fam!

From Teena Marie on Mon, Apr 25, 2011 at 13:28:19 from 67.2.100.158

Thanks Burt!!! :)

Fritz~

Yes, soon you will be able to run all those miles again ... AND ... it will only take you half the amount of time that it takes me!!!!! Did you hear that Josh is moving to a new facility? :) :) :)

Fly~

I'm not sure that I could PR at Ogden ... the course isn't nearly as fast as SG. My fastest time at Ogden is 3:38. If I could run a sub 3:30 there I would be ecstatic. :)

Scott~

Thanks! Easter was great!! I love family time! :)
