Need to get my leg feeling better. Going to be smart and take it super easy for the next little bit.

Have decided not to run D-news. :(

You are intelligently smarter than smart! :) :) :)

Upward and onward onto better things, SSF! :) :) :)

Teena, I have no doubt you made the right decision to not run Des News. Way to go. Get your leg healed up.

Just think: 1-3 weeks of rehab vs. 1-3 months. :) I think you made a very wise choice. The race will come and go and you'll be ready for the next one for sure!

I can't believe you are ditching me for D-News. :( I am sure you are making the right choice but it's still a bummer.

From Andy on Wed, Jul 20, 2011 at 12:11:21 from 199.190.170.22

Very smart decision. I did not have a good feeling about you running it.

From Teena Marie on Wed, Jul 20, 2011 at 21:39:04 from 67.2.126.85

Thank you for the nice words. I am bummed that I will not be running the marathon but feel good about the decision. :)

(I suppose I will have to live vicariously through you Johnny!)

Be prepared to be sorely disappointed then.

Smart, smart, smart.... Besides Des News is a good one to miss. Those first few miles and last few miles- OUCH!

From RAD on Thu, Jul 21, 2011 at 17:04:55 from 76.27.16.189

Smart decision Teena! It is probably one of the hardest things we have to do - admit we have to set a limit when we feel unconquerable! But, I agree with Brooke, better times ahead sooner.

Nice job on the bike and giving that leg a bit of a break. I'm sure it will reward you handsomely for being nice.

From allie on Thu, Jul 21, 2011 at 22:21:21 from 24.10.191.18

smart decision. although i echo your ":(" about not running it -- i feel the same way! the good news is that it will still be there next year, and there are other races to run in the meantime.

rest that leg and feel better. you really are making a wise decision -- you don't want to end up like limpy old me. :)

Teena, how are you feeling now?

From Smooth on Fri, Jul 22, 2011 at 11:36:36 from 67.2.89.58

I've decided not to run DNews too! It is simply not a fun course to torture my legs and risk injury!

How are you feeling? Couple more weeks of class and you're FREE to play right? :):):) Love and miss you!!! :)

Good Job on taking it easy it is much harder that is looks to rest. I think my husband is more happy that I am running again than I am now he doesn't have to fight with me every morning. He was right though rest has turned out to be the best thing.
