Nice workout Teena. I'm glad you are feeling good and healthy and ready to kill Ogden! not literally of course...

Books are fine, just as long as they aren't text-books and XXXL! Glad those days are behind me...well, until I decide to do more than a BS.

Rachel~
I think you would LOVE these books. Lots of anatomy and pathology ... cool stuff. BUT they are HUGE!!!

Your taper week is looking very good. What's the plan for the rest of the week?
From Teena Marie on Tue, May 10, 2011 at 21:12:24 from 67.2.88.232
Thanks Andy~
Here's the plan for the rest of this week, tell me what you think:
tomorrow - 8 miles w/3 x 1600s @ 5K pace
Thursday - 5 recovery miles
Friday - 6 miles w/8 x 100 strides
Saturday - 13 miles
(Just following the Pfitz taper. Do you think I should alter it at all?)
From Andy on Tue, May 10, 2011 at 23:44:24 from 174.52.172.236
I have always used Pfitz's taper and really like it. Finishing the last 1,600 tomorrow will feel so good knowing that the last hard run is in the books and it is all easy running until the marathon. I am so happy for you that you made it healthy and strong.

Do XXXL books come in XXX$?
How fast are you planning on tearing up the course at Ogden?
From Teena Marie on Wed, May 11, 2011 at 00:27:18 from 67.2.88.232
Andy~
I am excited and nervous for Ogden. Hoping that my run tomorrow goes well. :)
Bradley~
Just under $300 this semester (and this is supposedly the least expensive semester for books). I have to admit that they are AWESOME books though!!! I have spent a couple hours today just looking through them. I know PT school is going to be tough, but I think that I am going to **LOVE** it!!!! :)
From Teena Marie on Wed, May 11, 2011 at 00:30:12 from 67.2.88.232
Oh yeah, Bradley, as for Ogden ... I have had thoughts of anywhere between 3:30 and 3:25. I believe 3:30 is realistic. However, I think I will use the course tool and see how a 3:27 feels for the first 6 to 10 miles. If all is going well I will push it further, if not I will re-evaluate. :)

From glidergirl on Wed, May 11, 2011 at 09:32:21 from 155.100.9.11
You WILL love it so much!! You will eat it all up and you will think to yourself "this is one of the best decisions I've made". :) It will be perfect for you!

Allie~
I have not planned a group run. I have to be up at the U all Saturday morning for CPR re-certification. I am not going to be able to run until the afternoon. :(
Brooke~
I am getting quite excited! It just feels right! :)
