45 minutes elliptical

Core workout

Leg strength training

Tried to run but stopped within a couple of minutes due to lower left leg pain. I am 95% sure that it is medial tibial stress syndrome. In otherwords, shinsplints. I seem to do so much better when I run more miles but slower miles. Trying to compensate for the lack of time I have had available to run I have increased the intensity. Looks like I have increased it too quickly. Need to re-evaluate the plan.

Unsure about D-News. I will give it a couple days and see what happens.

The good thing is that there is no time to worry and stress about it! :) :) :)

Happy Friday, everyone. :)

** Btw, a couple of people told me not to run the 18 miler on Monday so quickly after the Spartan. You know who you are ... and yes, I should have listened. :)

Yay, new posts! I've been checkin everyday. :) No pressure though, I know you're super busy. Always good to hear from you, even if it's just 30 minutes of elliptical. Hope your leg feels better soon. You are awesome Teena, no matter what! :) Love ya!

T NA NA - follow our own advice you give your patients, is that possible? Stress fractures are not fun, be careful as you know. You have many hills left to climb this year, stay in the game.

So sorry about the shin splints! But you know how to heal thyself! You always do! :)

Please listen to the wise and not kill yourself over a silly marathon! The risk of getting injured is not worth it!

I love you and am so proud of you! You have a a lot on your plates...please please please take care of yourself! :)

Thanks Carina!!! I'm already feeling a bit better. Still need to be careful though. :)

Oh sweet Brooke!! You always make me smile! :) I just love you!!! :)

Brent~

Thank you for the reminder!! It is so much easier to recognize the right path for others than for ourselves sometimes. Silly.

SSF~

I put myself on a lower leg strength training program yesterday. I taped myself up well and really rolled the heck out of it. I tried to do a myofascial release but that is much harder to do on myself than to do on others. :) :) :) Love and miss you. :) :) :)
