75 minutes mtb'ing with Ry. :)

SO SO SO much fun!!! I think the mountain bike purchase was one of the best purchases Ry and I have ever made. I LOVE mountain biking!!! Remarkably, I did not fall one single time!!! I got my flu shot today, but I am fairly certain that I was injected with a magical "anti-falling mad mountain biking skillz"  elixir instead (and for a mere 20 bucks)!! Ry had two wipe-outs! He should have been injected!  (Of course he takes far more risks than I do so would have needed a much higher potency, probably 40 bucks worth.) Sure enough we hit the spots where I usually fall 5 or 6 times today. No problems! I am pretty sure that I have moved up one notch on the awesomeness meter!!! ;)

.71 miles running on my TM (making it possible for me to hit exactly 1800 running miles for the year after the 10K I will run as part of tomorrow's tri). :)

Glad to hear you're having fun on those bikes. :) My dad was really into mtn bike racing while I was in high school and he bought me a nice bike so we could go together. It was fun! Then he married someone who loves it, too, and they have had some great rides together. Great job on 1800 miles for 2011!

Brooke~

Do you still have your bike? :) :) :) (It would be fun to hit some trails together after the little one arrives!)

Andrea~

We have just been riding the Germania Dirt Trail off of the Jordan River Parkway in Murray. It is basically in my backyard, open in the winter, and good for beginners like me! :) It's about a 4 mile loop total of single track if you combine the various paths, so we usually do it at least a couple of times and like to do the more technical portions several times. I am very excited to hit some bigger trails this coming up week in SG and Vegas. :)

Tim~

I am having SO much fun with my bike! :)

Mountain biking is the best, now you have to head down to Moab and ride slick rock! Hope you had a merry christmas!

I still have it! So does James. He likes to bike, so we really should do some things this summer on our bikes!
