Fun morning. Just wanted to take it easy.

Ran 2 miles meandering through the neighborhoods (ran into JohnnyV and chatted for a sec and then into a cyclist while I was waiting for the light to change that ended up being a guy from Gold's, Doug -- I would have never recognized him in his helmet and shades, but I guess a runner's look doesn't change much :). Ended up arriving at the gym for some biking.

30 minutes upright bike.

Ran 2 miles back home backtracking.

When I approached my street I could see Sophia and Oliver doing sprints up and down the street. SO DANG CUTE!!!!

Then it was the best part of the morning -- running with the kids!! Albeit, Rylee and Livvy still prefer their beauty rest.

0.0 - 1.5 -- Ran with Payton, Sophia, and Oliver -- AP: 10:48

1.5 - 2.0 -- P-Dawg (Payton) wanted me to pace him to a sub 4:00 800 m. ran it in 3:56!!!

2.0 - 2.5 -- Cool down with Payton, Sophia, and Oliver

FUN FUN FUN!!!

*** SPEAKING OF RUNNING ... HAVE YOU ALL SEEN THIS???? MY PHYSIOLOGY PROF TOLD ME TO LOOK AT IT! WOW!!!!!!

Very cool.

From timp on Tue, Jun 08, 2010 at 12:32:03 from 144.189.100.25

good morning workouts!

Yeah that Solinsky video is very cool. Plus it was nice to see him beat Rupp who was the one they were saying was going to break the record. Not too bad for the guy's first 10K. Then on Friday he just ran a 12:56 5K - 1.5 sec behind the new AR that Lagat set. Lots of good stuff in American distance running right now.

SSF ~ VERY FUN morning indeed! P-Dawg rocks!!! :)

AWESOME video of Chris! Beastmode is sooo cool! Thanks for sharing! Love you!

Another awesome morning for you and your kids. Way to go! Now if I could just get my kids interested a little more in running. Sadly, I can't see the video because I disabled youtube. Didn't like the stuff my son was watching on that site.

From Teena Marie on Tue, Jun 08, 2010 at 14:18:51 from 174.52.45.85

Yep, another fun morning. I probably shouldn't count the miles that I run with my kids because they are much slower ... but dang, they are my favorite miles ... how can I not count them??? :)

Tim ... I had never seen it. I have watched it a dozen times now and each time I am in awe. I wish I knew what song was being played in the background ... I want it. :)

From Rhett on Tue, Jun 08, 2010 at 16:33:33 from 74.32.223.102

Your kids are fast! Soon they are going to be pacing you instead of the other way around. Looks like fun.

From Doone on Tue, Jun 08, 2010 at 16:34:31 from 184.10.154.170

Seeing kids run is the best thing in the world. They almost always go all out and keep a smile on their faces. I am jealous. It will be a few months before I run with the kiddos (heat). Even though they may be your slowest miles, they will be the ones your kids always remember and talk about when you they are older. Thanks for sharing.

WOW What an awsome video!! Brought tears to my eyes. Love that the kids are running. My daughter and son ran their first 5 K with me about 3 months ago and took first place in both of their age groups!! I was sooo proud! I have to figure out how to post some pictures on here. I think im all caught up on the calander now. Enjoy your kids and thanks for checking in on me.

From Kelli on Tue, Jun 08, 2010 at 23:16:09 from 71.219.93.114

Nice run today! Your kids are enjoying their summer by running??? Like mother like children, i suppose! My one running child has not run once since school got out last week, and she is running Ragnar in a week. She better get her butt in gear.

I watched the long version of that video a couple of weeks ago and was in awe. In the other video they focused a lot on the post-race commentary. What that guy did was beyond amazing. To say it is inspiring would be incorrect. To me it is nearly incomprehensible. Thanks for posting that. I like this version better.

SSF --

Not sure. My little Sophia has been sick. :(

I do want to go pick up my packet tonight but might have to wait until Ry is home.

Miss and love you.

SSF -- We need to figure everything out for Saturday. Should I just call you?

Ran this morning in the rain. LOVED IT!!! Was wishing you were with me. It was PERFECT weather.

From Kelli on Thu, Jun 10, 2010 at 18:42:39 from 71.219.93.114

So, I know nothing about this guy. How much did he beat the previous record by? Was he lapping people????
