Some sort of tummy virus.

Going to stay in bed as much as possible.

On the bright side: my bib for Ogden is 3332. Smooth says that 3s mean alive and that 2s mean easy. So my thought process is this: If I take it easy during the marathon I will cross the finish line alive. PERFECT!!! :)

Just got over some of that grief myself...hope you are feeling better soon. Is the Ogden Marathon this Saturday?

Good Luck!

From Teena Marie on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 15:15:39 from 174.52.45.85

Jeff - Yep! So I am giving my body until tomorrow morning to get better, or else!!! :)

The kids were battling stuff, so I was very careful with them. But I never worried about my hubby ... imagine my panic when he woke up yesterday morning throwing up. STINK!!! Sure enough, I got it!!!

From MrsFIT on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 15:30:52 from 205.127.241.18

Sounds like a PERFECT mantra for Ogden :)

From Andy on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 15:34:03 from 159.212.71.69

Bummer. Take care of yourself.

From Teena Marie on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 15:38:08 from 174.52.45.85

I don't think it is as bad as Ry or the twins had it because I am able to sip on soda and eat saltines now. So ... if I stay in bed by tomorrow morning I should be as good as new, right?

Plus ... this could actually be a good thing. It is keeping me from running and might give my leg an extra day to settle down. This might just work out to my advantage. :)

Amazingly positive attitude! I love it!

From Smooth on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 16:05:37 from 174.23.172.155

Yay, I'm glad to hear you're able to drink and eat! :)

You will be good as new and ready to boogie! LOVE YOU!

From Doone on Wed, May 12, 2010 at 23:54:40 from 184.10.154.170

Good luck on Saturday! I am sure this extra (even if undesired) rest will serve your legs well.

From Tom Slick on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 09:52:40 from 168.179.157.104

see that you do it that way, don't go and get all crazy on yourself and mess it up. Save it up for UVM and SGM.

From Teena Marie on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 11:32:25 from 174.52.45.85

Thanks Rhett!

SSF -- It has been a LONG time since I last boogied!!! Can't wait to see you! :)

Thanks Doone!!! It is so fun to have you on here!!!! :) :) :)

Slick -- Of course I will do it that way. I have to admit, however, that in one foolish and naieve moment, when I discovered my bib number (3332), I thought to myself, "That must mean that I am suppose to run this marathon in a 3:33:02 or a 3:33:20!!!" I smacked myself and stepped back into reality very quickly though!!! :)

From JulieC on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 15:05:15 from 71.219.44.64

Teena---It worked for Melody. She had that thing just before her super run at Boston. Sorry you have it though. If its any consolation I can't eat because I am anxious....to get this thing over with.. Not a good thing to force yourself to eat that you almost do want to lose your cookies. But I will take this over that. I ran SGM with it last year..I felt weak the first 10 miles and then I was detoxed and got more energized. So just be a 2 until you feel the 3 come on :D

From Smooth on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 17:24:03 from 174.23.172.155

SSF ~ So are you 3 today? Did that *forced cleansing* help so you're now eating and drinking and well rested? 3:33:02! That'd be SWEET!!!! Love you!

From Kathie on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 17:35:05 from 63.248.105.188

My bib number is 4160 as soon as I saw the 4 I decided that I was not going to use Smooths interpretations for it!

Then again if I ignore the 4 I wonder what the 160 mean?

From Teena Marie on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 19:22:32 from 174.52.45.85

Julie -- You make me laugh!!! I can not wait to hear how you do!! :)

SSF -- I feel SO SO SO much better!! I have been eating and drinking just fine. A quick 24 hour bug is all it was. Yahoo!!!! :) Love and miss you!!!

Kathie -- 06 minus 1 minus 4 = 1!!!! You're number one, Baby!!!! YES!!!! :) :) :)

From Teena Marie on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 19:23:17 from 174.52.45.85

Oh yeah, SSF -- I just got back from seeing Matt. He made me scream and cry -- but everything feels so much looser now. :)

From allie on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 19:36:22 from 67.177.0.102

good luck on saturday! glad you are feeling better. i am all about finding significance in bib numbers. if you have to pin paper to your shirt, you might as well turn it into a good luck charm. two years ago at ogden i had 2222.

alive & easy, easy & alive. go teena!

From timp on Thu, May 13, 2010 at 23:08:04 from 68.165.8.15

Teena - I've that comment about the bib. Thanks for the laugh :) :)

More importantly, get better. Make you you stay way hydrated with that stomach issue.

Then go have fun this weekend at the race.

From Teena Marie on Fri, May 14, 2010 at 16:29:53 from 174.52.45.85

Allie -- Thanks!!! That will be my mantra: Easy and Alive, Baby!!! :)

Tim -- Keep your fingers crossed for me!! :) Tummy feels SO much better! :)

Vinh -- Feeling SO much better. Tomorrow's main goal (two fold): Have fun -- Cross the finish line!

Rhett -- FUN sounds like a good plan to me! Thanks. :)

From Smooth on Fri, May 14, 2010 at 22:27:51 from 12.198.106.131
