9 miles AP 7:57

** On a side note: While I was doing homework last night I was semi-tuned into the news that was on FOX 13. I usually don't watch that channel when it comes to news, last night was a prime example why. I didn't catch all of the details, but apparently some restaurant owner (or someone) was taken hostage somewhere around Milcreek canyon. The guy who was held hostage was driving while the criminal had a gun. To the guy's credit he ran his truck into a police station to get someone's attention. Here's the part that just kills me, the news lady then proceeded to ask the guy reporter telling the story: "I wonder why he ran into the police building, didn't he have a cell phone with him?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????

(How was that, Burt?)

wow...reporters are geniuses!

great run today Teena. I don't watch the news much for that reason. Especially Fox 13. The reporters are distracting. I feel like they are trying too hard. Let's get real. I am sure they are great individuals but not in front of the camera.

"I wonder why he ran into the police building, didn't he have a cell phone with him?" Maybe she has a very dry sense of humor.

I love any story that slams a Fox station (:-) hows that Burt?) ha ha ha.

Good job Teena, I think you should have gone into minute detail about your homework, I am sure that would have excited more than just Burt.

From Burt on Thu, Nov 18, 2010 at 11:03:33 from 206.19.214.144

I'm going to body slam you Bonnie.
