180 LONG minutes on the elliptical. No pain in the legs, but back stiffness.

Went for a back/leg assessment with Matt at 9:30 p.m.  I owe him big time.

Findings:

L posterior pelvic tilt, locked L SI joint, and all the things I already assumed in my legs.

Matt gapped my SI joint and did several myofascial releases throughout my body.

I have come to terms that I might be merely crosstraining up until SGM. I did this for three weeks before Boston 2010 and I can do it again. Yep, my time will not be stellar, but it is what it is. :)

Still trying to find that perfect balance of family, school, sleep and running. It'll come. :) :) :)

Sounds like you have the right mindset to get through this. You have your priorities listed in the right order and that is the most important thing.

Are you saying that running should come after family? Maybe it's time to reexamine your priorities?

Just sayin..

Andy~

Thanks. I'm sure I will have days that I feel totally ticked off about the situation ... but right now I am putting on my "Teena Big Girl" face! :) :) :)

Rob~

Oh man ... you just always make me laugh!!! Just sayin'! :) :) :)

Let me know if/when you get it all figured out. I'm still workin' on it.

Am I crazy or is that a long time on the elliptical? I would go insane, but you are tougher than I am.

It sounds like you are getting a good handle on all of it and taking it one step at a time! Nice work Teena and keep up the hard work and brave face. You CAN do this!!

Oh SSF! I am so sorry!!! You've been down this road before and have come thru triumphantly! I have confidence that you are balancing everything beautifully. :) :) :)

180 minutes on the elliptical is INSANE!!! Please tell me you're not gonna do that again. :)

Please take care of yourself! Your family is AWESOME and they will be better for it. GOOD LUCK with school. Just enjoy SGM, a party to look forward to, no worries, no stress! Deal? Love and miss you!!!

Sorry to hear about the injuries. With your cross training regiment you will be back in no time. 180 minutes on the elliptical is a LONG time, no kidding. I hope you have a view of a lake, pretty trees and flowers.

Sorry to read about the injuries. Healing thoughts coming your way --

Dale~

And you let ME know if YOU figure it out!!! We'll get there! :)

Rachel~

"I CAN DO THIS, I CAN DO THIS, I CAN DO THIS!!" Nice mantra!! :)

SSF~

Deal!!! :) It'll be nice if I can get a little ahead in school so that I can enjoy the weekend in SGM. That is the goal! Sadly, the following Monday is the beginning of midterms! Stink!! :)

Fritz~

Of course I did, with chirping birds too!!! :) :) :)

Tim~

Thanks!!! We all take our turns!! :) :) :)
