You're racking up the miles this month. Are you feeling nice and strong and healthy?

Rhett,

Hmmm ... that's a loaded question. So subjective.

Definitely not as strong as I was in 2012, but stronger than some other years. I have no idea what kind of time I should expect. I have been doing the vast majority of my miles pretty dang slow. With that said, I have zero niggles (knock on wood).

How is the HR training going for you?

Just a few short days till the SGM? Hey Ms. Teena, you seem to be pretty much ready, all thats left is to decide how you want to attack and defeat the course. Good luck and great racing.....

I've been doing 100% of my running slow. It definitely keeps me healthy. Only time will tell if it is a successful training strategy for me but I plan on sticking with it at least until my 50 mile race in January.
