Teena...Sorry to hear your kids are sick. Seems like no matter how hard I avoid getting sick, I still get sick. I sanitize like crazy and do all kinds of other stuff, but it never fails.

Nice job on the run. You're looking really strong

From Smooth on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 13:22:19 from 174.23.198.220

You want me to take them to the doc.? Can I bring something for them? SO SO SO SORRY they're sick!

That was ONE SUPERDEE DUPERDEE SPEEDEEEEE FAST 14 miler! :) See you in an hour! LOVE YOU!

From Teena Marie on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 13:26:58 from 174.52.45.85

Dale -- Luckily I don't get sick very often. Knock on wood! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

SSF -- Nope!! They are on the mend. Rylee wants me to make her something to eat right now so I better go do that. That's a good sign!!! Can't wait to see you!

From Andy on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 13:44:15 from 199.190.170.21

Better that they are sick now than in a couple of weeks. Can you imagine how stressed you would be then? How did the pace feel for the 14 miles?

From Teena Marie on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 13:55:03 from 174.52.45.85

VERY VERY VERY good point, Andy!!!! You are so right!!!! The pace felt comfortably hard the first 11 miles, but I pushed hard the last three which were quite hard.

From Andy on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 14:02:37 from 199.190.170.21

I wish I had your mental toughness. I move out of the comfortably hard zone and give up. Excellent run.

From Kelli on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 14:10:27 from 71.219.89.155

Teena Marie, you are one fast buggar! I could barely pull that pace off for 5 miles today. You are truly amazing. Now that you are all well, the rest of us get to see just how fast you really are. AND you are going to breeze through every half marathon you run, as you run one at least 3 times a week (or more).

Stay well, keep those kids quarantined! Emma is way congested, too, I am hoping it is allergies because she has them really bad and it is that time of year.

From Teena Marie on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 14:11:00 from 174.52.45.85

Andy -- Neither you or Smooth give yourself enough credit!!! You have no idea how many times during a tough run I think about what you would do and how you would get through it. Seriously.

Did you decide to run the half on Saturday?

From Teena Marie on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 14:16:27 from 174.52.45.85

Kel --

My legs don't run nearly as many miles as yours do -- hence, they aren't as tired. When you taper it will be AWESOME!!!!! Your mitochondria levels must be busting out all over the place!!

Love you!

From Kelli on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 14:25:57 from 71.219.89.155

I have no idea what that means...

Whatever you say, you are fast! I wish Scott was in better shape for Boston, I would seriously see how long I could keep up with. I think maybe about 5-6 miles is about it!

From Teena Marie on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 14:32:34 from 174.52.45.85

Kel -- We ALL know that you race like no other!!! Normally I would say that if I could keep within 5 to 10 minutes of you and Scott that I would be ecstatic. BUT ... I REALLY am trying hard not to focus on my time but running a good strong race to the best of my ability. I am really looking forward to it.

PLUS ... you are in Wave One ... I am in Wave Two, so you will cross the finish line a LONG time before I will!! Pave my way, Baby, and sprinkle the path with good Kelli vibes!!! :)

From Kelli on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 14:34:04 from 71.219.89.155

Well then, when you pass me, give me a good ole smack on the butt!

Now, be a good girl and go check Burt's blog as Rhett suggested!

From RivertonPaul on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 16:07:54 from 67.42.27.114

That workout alone suggests sub 3:30.

From RAD on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 18:04:25 from 67.172.229.125

Another speedy Teena workout - watch out Bazooka!! Teena's ready to tag in, and she's faster than a speeding bullet, and ready to take on all of Boston!

From Smooth on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:15:56 from 174.23.198.220

SSF ~ THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for working on my leg today and for the fun giggles!

I just think you are the GREATEST!!!! Not only are you training/running smart, you are taking it to a higher level. It is SO EXCITING to watch you running faster, reaching your potential and all the while enjoying this sport. You are doing so well with school. I admire the way you're nurturing and teaching your children. THANKS for sharing your AWESOMENESS with me!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!! :)

Have a fun rest of the spring break!

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:40:16 from 174.52.45.85

Paul -- Not going to worry about that right now! Just excited to be running it!!! :)

Rachel -- As always, you make me laugh!!!

SSF -- It was my pleasure. BUT ... I am very worried that we got carried away with laughter and worked on your calf muscles way too much with far too much pressure w/o realizing it. Laughter is a powerful thing!!! We should know better than to multi-task when it comes to stuff like that!!! ;)

I LOVED every second with you.

Studying now!!! (At least trying to study.)

The movie with Rylee was much better than I anticipated. We had a good time. Rylee, of course, was laughing at her cry baby mother!

From Smooth on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:46:46 from 174.23.198.220

I don't know how you can study so late!!!

Rylee is the sweetest girl EVER! So, it was a good cry movie?

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:48:28 from 174.52.45.85

It was for me. But I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one crying.

From Smooth on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:52:58 from 174.23.198.220

It has a happy ending though?

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:54:37 from 174.52.45.85

Yes. I'm going to go into Mozarella :) and delete that last comment so I don't ruin the movie for people. Stink! I shouldn't have told you!!!! One second, let me try and do this. ;)

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:57:00 from 174.52.45.85

Did it!!! :)

From Smooth on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 00:59:02 from 174.23.198.220

:) I'm going to bed now. You should too. Don't stay up too late to study. Sweet dream! LOVE YOU!

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 01:01:51 from 174.52.45.85

May the bed bugs kiss you! :)

From Andy on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 09:07:58 from 159.212.71.77

Now that I know how the movie ends I need to know what the movie was.

From Kelli on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 16:26:28 from 71.219.89.155

I read the book, so thank goodness i already knew how it ended otherwise i would have come over and kicked your fanny for ruining it for me! i bet it is a crier, all of his books/movies are! Maybe we will go see that tonight after the temple.....

From Rhett on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 16:32:19 from 74.32.222.202

Very nice run. If you keep this up, I'm going to be looking over my shoulder to see when Teena is going to pass me at Boston.

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 21:22:50 from 174.52.45.85

Andy -- If you don't know what movie I am talking about then I am not going to tell you! That way I didn't officially ruin it!!! You will just have to watch every movie thinking, "Hmmm ... I wonder if this guy is going to die?" How are you today? Going to your blog to see.

Kel -- Hope you are having a wonderful evening with Scott! :)

Rhett -- As if!!!! :)

From Andy on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 21:31:22 from 198.60.114.178

I'm pretty sure I know which one it is. I'm kind of Hannah MOntana'd out so I was going to skip it anyway.

From RivertonPaul on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 21:41:10 from 72.121.110.59

The dragon movie was darling

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 22:38:49 from 174.52.45.85

What are you talking about, Andy? ;)

Paul -- Yeah, yeah ... the Dragon Movie! Nice!

From Andy on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 23:42:38 from 198.60.114.178

Isn't that who is in the movie? Maybe I guessed wrong.

From Smooth on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 23:55:23 from 174.23.198.220

Yep, Andy it's Miley Cyruss! She has such a low talking voice for such a little girl. Her laughs cracks me up!

SSF ~ Thanks for the call this afternoon! Hope you're getting plenty rest/sleep tonight! Was your car fixed?
