18 miles AP 7:48 :)

Was sad that I was not able to meet up with the flyers in Provo this morning. We have a million things going on today and I didn't feel right about leaving Ry to get them all done. Still more to do. The upside is that it encouraged me to get the run done so that I could get home to help. Felt awesome the first 15.5 miles and then had an Andy moment (saw spots and felt a little light-headed). That only lasted about 10 minutes and then things got better again. :) I definitely feel that I am running better than I ever have. (Knock on wood.)

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!! :)

What a great run and confidence booster!! As if you need anymore. You are so ready!! That is one awesome 18 miler!!! Sorry about the stars. No sugar? Lack of H20? You deserve a big TREAT!! Spoil yourself. : D.

From RivertonPaul on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 15:36:25 from 75.169.26.228

Very very solid. Keep up the good work, without dramatically overdoing it.

From DonGardinero on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 15:40:22 from 75.162.102.74

Awesome run!!! You are getting too speedy for your own good when you start seeing spots.

I'm bummed out, too, that I couldn't make it down for the run this morning. I was at work until 2 a.m.

We are going to meet Julie Ann at Leatherby's in Taylorsville tonight at 8:00 or 8:30. Drop by if you get the chance. If not, no biggie.

From Smooth on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 15:46:00 from 174.23.198.220

SSF! ~ I don't know what to say anymore! I used up all the WaHoo adjectives to describe how AWESOME, FANTASTIC, FABULOUS, INCREDIBLE, SUPREMEMO, SPEEDY, FAST, STRONG of a DIEHARD you are! :)

You surpass your run every single time. 18 @ 7:48!!!! That's a PR. So, at Boston, just remember Ry is anxiously waiting for you at the finish (not out golfing). Although you wouldn't need any incentive. I am so so SO SO SO EXCITED for your BOSTON PR! So HAPPY I get to be there to celebrate it with you! LOVE YOU!

OH, we missed you on our run today! Did you get my message/song on your voicemail? LOVE YOU! :)

From Maynard on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 15:51:22 from 71.213.25.67

18 miles at a 7:48 average...

HO-LEE CA-RAP!

Yeah, we missed you this morning, but I would have slowed you down. A lot.

From Kathie on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 16:05:06 from 63.248.105.188

Yo miss speedy you are so super fast like Maynard said we missed you but you are way too fast to hang with us any more!

From Snoqualmie Ridge Runner on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 16:34:25 from 67.168.154.220

That is a Serious Pace there Sister!! Wow - I'm impressed at all you get done... keep up the good work and "DO NOT INJURE" yourself before Boston...

From Kelli on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 18:04:22 from 71.219.89.82

I second Maynard, WOW.

From Teena Marie on Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 21:22:12 from 174.52.45.85

Julie -- Thanks!! You always say the nicest things!!! Treat??? Yeah, I had a few treats! Just got back from "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" where I ate a ton of buttered popcorn and an oh so yummy dessert crepe. :)

Paul -- Dramatically overdoing it??? That means you assume that I am going to overdo it to some extent!! C'mon, where is the faith my friend? Thanks for the encouraging words! ;)

Dale -- Thanks!!! 8:30ish, huh? I will try and see if I can make it. That would be awesome!

SSF -- I got your message!!! You are so stinkin' cute!!!!! I am not going to concentrate on trying to PR at Boston. I keep telling myself that what I want more than anything is to just run smart, enjoy myself, and run to the best of my ability. If I do those things and I PR -- AWESOME!!! If not, I will be okay with it because I feel like I have really run smart this time around! And that, to me, is a huge success. Something that I have struggled with for a long time! :) Love and miss you! Can't wait to see you next week!

Bradley -- You would have also made me laugh, eat donuts, and have a GREAT time!!! Sounds like I missed out big time!!!!

Kathie -- NO WAY!!! You have no idea how much I was missing all of you this morning. It made me think a lot about L2L and how much I love all of you!!!!

Jefferey -- Yes, Sir!!! Thanks for keeping an eye out for me. You are FANTASTIC!!!! :)

Kelli -- I just read (and commented on) your blog!!!! I bow to your greatness!!!!

Teena...It was good to see you tonight!!! Thanks for stopping by.

From Andy on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 01:24:28 from 198.60.114.178

Not sure how I feel about my name being associated with such a negative feeling. You are definitely running better than you ever have and it is because you are running smarter than you ever have. I was happy to see your comment about not worrying about a PR at Boston. While I think it will happen, the most important thing is that you have found the best way for you to train and be happy with your running.

From RAD on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 01:37:29 from 67.172.229.125

holy cow lady! You are going to smash Boston to BITS! If you can fight an "I'm going to fall over and die if I don't stop" feeling for TEN minutes - you can conquer anything!

From Rhett on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 03:42:35 from 74.32.219.227

Did I read that right? 17 mp miles and 1 at VO2 max. WOW! Now wonder you were seeing spots. I'd probably be passed out on the ground putting that kind of effort in at this point in my marathon training. With the right taper you are so going to set the biggest PR ever in Boston. I am so excited for all you gals who are peaking at just the right time!!!!!!!!!!

From Kelli on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 13:17:22 from 71.219.89.82

You have speed, I have distance. We are both AWESOME!!! ;0)

From Kelli on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 13:23:53 from 71.219.89.82

Just wondering, did you do those 18 on the treadmill, cause if you did, you are crazy!

From Teena Marie on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 16:56:55 from 174.52.45.85

Dale -- It was great seeing all of you ... even if it was just for a minute! :)

Andy -- Think of it this way ... as I was running during that little episode I kept saying to myself, "Be strong like Andy!!!" Seriously!!!! :) Boston is going to be fun, I really wish you were going to be there.

Rachel -- Your comments always make me laugh! :)

Rhett -- You do wonders for my ego!!! :) Truthfully, I am just going to run the best race I can in Boston and enjoy myself. Let the chips fall where they may.

Kel -- YOU my dear, have BOTH!!!! I am just really excited that I am running stronger than I ever have and I am in zero pain!!! I am having so much fun. I have no idea how you are able to log the miles that you do but I am incredibly impressed! Doesn't it feel great to find what works for each of us? Like we have talked about before, everybody is so different. I could NEVER run 90 miles in a week ... but yes, I can run 18 miles on the treadmill!!! :) (Not my first choice, but it fit in the schedule.)

From Kelli on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 23:04:22 from 71.219.89.82

I, too, am so glad you are pain free. It makes me happy!!! I hope you had some good TV to watch during that long run! WOW, 18 miles on the treadmill. Did you do it at home or the gym?

From Teena Marie on Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 23:23:47 from 174.52.45.85

The gym. I'd glance at the TVs every now and then but the people were a lot more interesting! :)
