10 miles, AP 9:07 on the TM in the fitness room. It is rainy w/winds of 29 mph outside in what is suppose to be beautiful sunny SG (this definitely throws a wrench in our golfing plans this week).

Tight right soleus and anterior tibialis, loosened up after a few miles. Threw in one faster mile at the very end, felt fine.

Here's to a wonderful week! :)

SO SO SO FUN!!!! :)

10.85 miles on the Bear Claw Poppy Trail (w/a few very cool detours) :) :) :)

Just under 6 miles with Ry and then another 5 on my own. Absolutely perfect conditions at a very fun pace. Fly, if you are reading this, you would have absolutely LOVED today's run!

Off to soak in the hot tub w/my boy! :)

(I am LOVING Spring Break.)

10.45 miles

5.45 by myself on the pavement including Beast of a Hill, AP 8:02

5 with Ry on the Bear Claw Poppy Trail, AP 9:17. Ran a different portion of the trail, got slightly muddy and a little scraped up. SO FUN! I think the best part of Spring Break has been all of the running with Ry. Sadly, he hurt his hand during our first 9 holes of golf on Saturday. However, with golf no longer an option he has wanted to run with me. AWESOME! :)

Around the World Core (reps of 17).

10.55 miles

4.55 by myself and 6 with Ry. :)

Sadly we had to say goodbye to our new found love, The Bear Claw Poppy Trail, this morning (at least for a while). We ran a different part of the trail and ended up running the True Grit Epic mountain bike course. Way fun, but I did twist my ankle a couple of times. Seems to be fine though, hallelujah.

Headed back to good 'ol West Jordan, Utah. So excited to see the kids, but I will miss this one on one time I have had with Ry.

Total Time: 2:15:37, AP 8:19

I am very pleased with how this run turned out considering the higher mileage (for me --  not to some of you) I have been putting in this week. Kept a comfortably hard pace and was able to finish strong.

Was able to run a little bit with Dawes at the beginning (less than a mile), but he was finishing as I was starting. Other than that I was on my own. Slightly boring, but needed to be done since tomorrow is crazy busy. Still hoping to fit in some miles in the morning, but don't know how many.

morning:

10.5 recovery miles with Matt Hansen (the PT the tortures me with myofascial release, stripping muscles, etc.), Bish, and Stevie. Matt is training for his first half marathon next month. He is a big guy (6' 6" and 255 - which is down from his normal weight). Today's run was his longest ever. He did AWESOME!!!! :)

evening:

2 miles on the treadmill

Yoga core workout with Bob Harper. Good stuff.

** This is the first time ever that I have hit 70 miles in one week. I am quite happy about it. It was so wonderful to have Spring Break and plenty of time to get in my runs without having to rush. I just keep thinking about Kelli though and how she ran 50 miles in one day and kicked MAJOR trash doing it! I am in awe!!!
