* I had planned on running more than 3 miles but I started feeling really light-headed and sick to my stomach. Blah ... probably just need a good night's sleep. It has been a week of tests (with another one tomorrow) and I am just plain tired. I was hoping to run my long run tomorrow since I am heading to Moab for the weekend with Ry to mountain bike, but now I am thinking otherwise (about the long run ... not Moab).

Arrived in Moab just in time to get in 2.5 hours of mountain biking before the sunset. :)

Rode part of the steelbender/flat pass trail and around Ken's Lake. Was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous.

4 hours riding the XTERRA Moab biking course and a little extra. This is an insanely TOUGH course. In fact, many of the pros have said that this course is the toughest of all the XTERRA courses. After riding it (and walking portions that were far too difficult for me to ride) I have made the very judicial decision to NOT make this XTERRA race my first (as I had originally planned). I do want to race it at some point, but not until my technical riding gets MUCH better. It would just be a recipe for disaster under racing conditions. Both Ry and I fell several times ... it wasn't pretty ... but it was SO SO SO FUN!!!
